"As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord" is a passage from Joshua that adorns many Christian homes in framed art and placards, affirming an order of life in following God. While the decision of how we order our lives as individuals, households, and communities is important, the stories that we tell may be more important than the decisions we make. Can we tell a story to our neighbor about how we see the activity of God in our lives? Joshua's decision reflects a recognition and remembrance of God's activity--a simple story shared out of gratitude and wonder. Where do you see God active in your life?
