Connecting People Passionate About Church Communication

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of working with Meredith Gould and a cast of many partners hosting a series of workshops on social media ministry. We connected over 125 people in 5 workshops. What I realized is that we weren't so much teaching people about using social media tools for ministry, but creating an extended network of people passionate about communicating well for the sake of serving Christ and neighbor.

In the midst of a communication reformation, I am glad to have the opportunity to work with other church communication practitioners (who serve in many capacities) in order that we may share resources with one another. Faith Growth is a project of colleague and friend, Christopher Harris, and I am glad to partner with him and other colleagues to offer information, encouragement, ideas, and discussion forums for doing ministry in a digital age. Yesterday I posted at Faith Growth on the topic of barriers that people face in the church regarding social media. Check out Faith Growth and join the conversation!

It is an honor to be working with you.
